I have always been on a hunt for a gentle Low PH cleanser for my oily acne-prone skin. Honestly, there isn’t a lot of products in the market which gives me that feeling of cleanliness minus the dry skin afterward. Until I tried the cosrx Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.
I have seen a lot good reviews about it but I was not really convinced until I recently discovered new regimen to prevent breakouts. Finally, I gave it a try and bought a tube.
It became a staple in my cleansing. In fact, I am about to finish my second tube!
Ok, let’s start with the Review!
Sustain moisture every day and all day long!
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Polysorbate 20, Styrax Japonicus Branch/Fruit/Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Saccharomyces Ferment, Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Betaine Salicylate, Citric Acid, Ethyl Hexanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA
There is a bit of clean scent that for some reason, I associate it with a hospital ( I know I’m weird!)
Soft clear gel
How to use it:
I wash my face twice a day using it. I just dispense a pea-sized amount (that’s all you need to cover the entire face which will make it last really long) and massage onto my wet skin. It lathers pretty easy.
Then, I rinse thoroughly with water ensuring that no traces of the product left on my skin.
If you are wearing a makeup, I highly recommend to double cleanse and use it as the second cleanser. See below tests with “makeup”
As you can see, the makeup is almost gone after one washing except for the lip tint. I used Labiotte Wine Lip Tint and it is really long wearing tint and won’t easily come off.
Also, my eyes get red and irritated when washing with it. It goes away after few minutes though.
Where Did I Buy it?
